Bio: Coach Haley is originally from Madison, Ohio and moved to Pittsburgh in 2018. She is a certified teacher and loves working with children. She has always been a passionate sports fan that loves competition. In high school she was a 4 year varsity team member for the volleyball, swimming, and track & field teams. She played club volleyball at Spire Institute and participated in their student athlete training academy her senior year. She went on to play collegiate club volleyball at Ohio University for 4 years. Her senior year of college she began coaching for Athens School District and in her first season as a Varsity Head Coach the team went undefeated in their section earning Haley her first Coach of the Year Award. From that point on she has taken every opportunity to teach the game of volleyball. She loves helping young girls become strong confident athletes and teaching life lessons through the complexities of teamwork. Her love for the game is what keeps her playing competitively as an adult alongside her fellow coach and fiancé Vance Blanc.

Favorite Volleyball Memory: My favorite volleyball memory is bittersweet. My senior year of college my club team went 8-1 at our Championship Tournament, falling just short of a National Title in 3 sets to Kansas. Though the tournament ended in a nasty ankle injury for me, I played some of the most exciting and competitive volleyball of my career with teammates that I loved and will never forget that match!
